Weekly Reading Recap

Books I’ve Finished

This has been a wonderfully fulfilling reading week so far. I started and finished reading Love Unexpected by Q.B. Tyler and you’ll be able to see my full review on this stunning story next week in its entirety. In the meantime, this was a forbidden love story that ensnared my heart and had my emotions on a cliff hanger through the entire thing.

I also finished reading No Mercy by D.M. Davis and will also have a full review up next week for this one. Davis was also kind enough to agree to doing an interview with me regarding this new release. We discuss the main characters and some of her upcoming writing projects.

Books I’m Currently Reading

  • Half Truths by Rachael Brownell
  • Underneath the Sycamore Tree by B. Celeste
  • Into the Clear Water by B. Celeste

I am currently on a mission to read every book that Barbara Celeste has written. Her writing his superb and her story telling is unique in a way I haven’t crossed in a long time. I did a spotlight on her and her work that I highly recommend checking out.

Half Truths is part of my ARC pile for the month of August and over 10% through I would say it’s got my attention. There are numerous new releases coming out this month and the remainder of this year that you aren’t going to want to miss. But reading them all is impossible. Try and find the ones that speak most to you first!

General Reading Updates

August, in general, is going to be a very busy ARC month with lots of amazing romance authors releasing books this month and next month – so keep your eyes open for all the cover releases, author interviews and news I’ll be sharing. You won’t want to miss the big stuff coming this month.
