First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?
- Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page.

I chose today’s book for First Lines Friday because I have fallen in love with this series and can’t wait to read this book. It’s currently a three-book regency romance series that I read the third book and fell in love with the world the author created and knew that I needed them all. Having received the first book earlier this week, it’s sitting at the top of my TBR pile and waiting for me to start it!
If you love a regency romance series that’s clean and features strong female character leads, then this is one you’ll want to check out!
