Tea Cakes & Trouble by Donna Doyle
Released: March 16, 2025
I actually just started this one last night. I had been reading another “cozy mystery” book that turned out to be more thriller than cozy mystery so I’ve replaced it with this one. Tea Cakes & Trouble is a very short read, only 87 pages, but I’m really enjoying the cozy mystery feel that this one has. The mystery in this one is not a murder, but a slew of mean editorials about people around town that keep showing up in their local paper and Sammy, the main character, is trying to figure out who’s writing them!

Reign Returned by Katie Keridan
Released: September 13, 2022
After my current read I’ll be shifting gears a little and diving into a little YA Fantasy. This is a three book series and I’ve actually read the second book and loved it, so I’m starting over from the beginning and reading the full three book series properly.

As Kyra and Sebastian work together to uncover the secrets of their realms, they also uncover secrets within their own pastsโpasts that are far more intertwined than they ever imagined.
