What a wonderful and crazy week it’s been over here. I’ve been spending more time enjoying books and loving what I do in a way that I haven’t in a really long time. Sometimes being online every day can be truly exhausting, but when you’re doing the things you love and finding a way to share that with others, it makes it all worth it!

The spells surrounding the castle wouldn’t hold much longer. Blow after blow rained down against the outer walls, and through the window, Schatten caught a glimpse of blue sparks ricocheting off grey stone. He felt the assault in his own body, as if unseen hands were pummeling his chest.
The image of a four-footed serpent appeared on the wide gold bracelets he wore on each wrist, and his wife’s voice filled his mind.
I don’t think the spells will last much longer, Kareth said.
