Long-lost fated lovers find themselves torn apart by their inability to be together

Adventures in Literature

Thank you to InkSlinger PR and Krissy Daniels for providing me a copy of this new release to share with you all today!

There are regular times in my life, when I don’t realize I need a certain book until it’s in my hands. Some books we seek out because we are attracted to them and others fall in our laps without question. This contemporary romance fell into my lap last week and I ate it up in one day of reading. It reads quickly and has a lot of drama, longing for love, and pain that draws you right in.

We have our main characters Natalie King and Cole Adams.

Natalie is a self-motivator, trying to prove to herself that she can do things on her own and is building her career in banking. Her life focuses around being with her family, her best friend Lucy, and her career. When the book first starts, she is working on separating from her long-term, aggressive boyfriend that’s a narcissistic nutcase.

Then we have Cole Adams. The handsome (albeit rich), quiet man standing at the counter of the coffee shop where Natalie is and when their eyes meet, the air charges and they both immediately feel like they know each other from somewhere. This was the biggest element that tied the entire storyline together – fated lovers that could never be together. While Cole and Natalie can feel fate continuing to pull them together, Cole is engaged and in love with Natalie’s former high school enemy.

Things are incredibly complicated as Cole’s friend starts to date Natalie’s best friend and they find themselves constantly brought together. But the part I loved most about this story was the continued focus on fate and destiny. It tore their hearts apart each time they saw the other with someone else, because they just knew they were meant to be together. The author does an amazing job by keeping infidelity out of the story, no one cheats on their partners, which lends even more to the heart breaking outcomes.

There are a few really hot sex scenes, lots of bad language, but the book focuses mostly on the entwined love destiny of our main characters. A moving romance novel I’d recommend to any of my romance reading friends!

Today we are celebrating the exciting release for L.O.V.E. by Krissy Daniels by participating in the blog tour! This is a contemporary romance, standalone title. You can purchase it now. Follow Krissy on Facebook for details.

Book Blurb:

Our relationship, mine and Cole’s, isn’t a simple one. It’s complicated, frustrating and, at times, downright ugly. You see, I fell for a man who couldn’t love me back. Hard as I tried to avoid the dimpled prince of Seattle, life threw us together. As much as we resisted temptation, he burrowed his way into my heart. Sinful as our attraction was, our destinies were entwined. Don’t worry. Ours is a love story, after all. I had no idea how our fairytale would play out, but one thing I knew for certain? Fate had a twisted sense of humor, and she did not play fair.

Krissy is a full time writer, avid reader, and lover of dark and dirty romance. Growing up surrounded by the great outdoors, her childhood was full of adventure that fueled an overactive imagination and ignited a passion for storytelling. Whether it be dolls, or running free through the wooded areas surrounding her home, playtime always included a tormented villain, a damsel in distress and a larger than life hero. After relentless encouragement from friends and family, she finally put the characters in her head to pen and paper. The only thing she loves more than curling up with a steamy romance novel, is cozying up to her desk and writing her own sexy adventures to share with others.
