No Mercy by D.M. Davis is now live!

Don’t miss this heart-wrenching, enemies to lovers, sexy, contemporary romance written in K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes Worlds project, and is the first book in the Black Ops MMA series!

When it comes to protecting his angel, he has no mercy.

Gabriel
The first time I saw her, she made my pulse dance to a rhythm that matched the sway of her hips.
The second time I saw her, she was in the arms of my best friend.
That broken, rusty organ in my chest hasn’t beaten since.
Blood doesn’t run through these veins, it’s pure, unleaded determination.
I’ve fought my whole life. For safety. For Food. For my family.
Five years later, I’m fighting for my position in the MMA world.
No distractions.
Only, my angel needs me, and that tin can behind my ribs found its beat again.

Francesca
Gabriel “No Mercy” Stone earned his fight-name long before he entered the octagon.
He’s been a thorn in my side for years.
He takes pleasure in proving his nickname to me at every turn.
He’s relentless. He’s heartless.
Until one day he’s not.
It took the worst day of my life for Gabriel to show me mercy.
Broken and afraid, I let him piece me back together.
He offers me everything yet promises nothing.

When a man shows he has no mercy, you should believe him.

Adventures in Literature Review

No Mercy is the heated and emotional story of Gabriel “No Mercy” Stone, an affluent MMA fighter, ex-marine and overall bad-ass Alpha Male and the apple of his eye Frankie. However, Frankie is with Gabriel’s best friend, Austin and has been for almost a decade. Until one night changes everything and they all must face their new situation.

When Gabriel is finally allowed to openly share his feelings for Frankie, it forever changes their relationship. But she’s weary of him since he’s always been a complete jerk to her and she never understood why. But now things are starting to make sense and even bigger issues are abound as Gabriel realizes he can’t commit to a “Happily Ever After” with the only woman he’s ever truly loved.

Will he be able to prove to her that he can commit all the way, or will he be another asshole in the long list of horrible men in Frankie’s life?

The characters in this story spoke volumes and were not only hot to read about, but they just had so much depth and devotion throughout the entire story. They had always been attracted to one another but relationship obligations and being true to those relationships, kept them from ever being close. Instead, they turned into enemies and openly disliked one another. While all along they were harboring heated feelings that they couldn’t indulge in until the circumstances were in their favor.

A beautiful story that I will be recommending for a long time to come !
