My kids are SO ready for Halloween. There hasn’t been one day that’s gone by where they haven’t asked me at least one thing about the upcoming holiday.
“When are we decorating?” “When will my costume get here?” “I can’t wait to go to such-and-such place!”
It’s a never-ending spooky day conversation in our home. Which reminded me that there are a lot of Halloween books that we have and we’re starting to set them out now and read them when the kids are in the mood for it. Some are from when I was a kid and others we’ve accumulated over the 10 years of raising our three little ones.
Does anyone still remember the old Berenstain Bears books? Well I loved them as a kid and my kids have come to love them as well. Along with Pete and Splat the Cat! There are so many great kids books characters from my days and today that it was hard for me to narrow some of this down.
