First Lines Friday

First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?

Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page.
Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first.

Happy Friday everyone! I hope this week was amazing for you all but the weekend is coming and that means lots of amazing reading to be had. My goal is to finish the one I’m featuring today. It’s a new release and an amazing paranormal romance if you’re in to that kind of thing. The book you’re about to see is part of a larger series and each book can be read as a stand alone, but SO much better if you read the entire series!

She does an an amazing job writing about characters that connect deeply and she focuses on soul mate connections which always speaks to my higher heart when it comes to love.
