Book Review: Shot Taker by Piper Lawson

Ever since reading Book 1 in this series, I’ve been waiting for this one! It was wonderful to jump back into Clay and Nova’s world and watch their relationship continue to develop after the cliff hanger of the first book that left me feeling so lost.

I love Piper’s ability to keep a story intense, while also keeping things light and humorous. Her books always make me feel a little lighter and happier after reading them. Even when they end on cliff hangers. Thankfully, the hanger in this part leading us into the finale, isn’t as despairing as where we were left at the end of the first part.

So excited to see where Clay and Nova finish up in the finale and find their happily ever after. Piper has laid out a relationship between these characters that can definitely overcome obstacles, even if there is a big distance between them!
