May seem to go by so fast! April was a crazy busy month for us as four out of the five of us in our household have birthdays, so it was a month of celebrations. Now May is our recovery month from all that activity, but then other things started to come up that was making it hard for me to read. Personal challenges and family news that made some days too sad and hard to read anything. Surprisingly though, it turned out to be my highest reading month yet. Clearly, I needed the reading and I enjoyed a lot of great books.
I started a lot of new projects in May that I’m looking forward to for the rest of this year, including being a BBNYA panelist, a judge for the RWA, and started a series of author interviews to help spread the word of anyone that wanted to partner together. This year, so far, has been filled with a lot of exciting things and I’m looking forward to the next month!
May has concluded with 14 books read and a total of 3,649 pages read – like I said, it was a busy reading month for me! Now onto the books that made up this wonderful month!
