Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Wishes

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Bookish Wishes

Today’s prompt is all the TOP TEN books on your WISH LIST. I actually had to spend some time cleaning up my Amazon Book Wish List because I haven’t even been into it for quite some time and it had stuff in there I already owned, or things I wasn’t even interested in anymore. So I am glad this prompt arrived, because it forced me to do a little spring cleaning.

Having a wish list is always a great idea because it makes it easier for friends and family to get you the books you really want, rather than hoping they know or will remember what you’ve said you wanted. I encourage you all, if you don’t already have one, get one started and then share it in the comments! You never know who might be visiting this list that’s a little book fairy and wants to grant a few wishes!

  1. Gabrielle Meyer’s Timeless series is FABULOUS! I would love to send you the first book but it’s not letting me through your wishlist. If you message me on Facebook with your address I will get one sent to you!

  2. I do have a wishlist, and like you don’t keep it as updated as I “should.” My family forgets I have one, so I really get books off of it, except when I buy them myself, LOL! Have a great week!

    1. I know what you mean! I started mine years ago so my mom would have gift ideas for me 😅

  3. I have a wishlist as well, but I mostly use it as a place to store books I would like to read one day rather than an actual wishlist list! I only share it with my parents who usually just buy me Barnes and Noble gift cards anyways 😂

    1. Have you read anything by Ken Follett before? His books are long, historically focused books that are very engrossing.

  5. I’ve been meaning to read the Meyer series ever since I first heard about it, but I still haven’t even started it. *Sigh* So many books, so little time…

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

    1. It is a wonderful series! I read Book 3, the one that just came out and now I need to start from the beginning and read them all. Her books are SO well written. My next read is going to be The Lady Glass by Anneka Walker and I can’t wait to read that one, too.
