2019 is quickly coming to a close and that means looking through all the successes from this year, understanding challenges and also making plans for what you want to do next year.
Hopefully you’re all gearing up for 2020, or at least starting to think about all the fun stuff you want to read! As I started making my reading goal for next year on Godoreads and deciding how many books I want to shoot for, I started thinking more specifically about how I want to achieve those goals.

I decided that I wanted to setΒ BIG goals for project oriented reading clusters I want to make sure I achieve, but also to setΒ little lists within those goals for how to achieve not just my high-level total books, but to make sure I start incorporating things into my reading routines that I always talk about and never get around to.

2020 BIG Reading Goals
- Start and finish a series/trilogy (Challenge myself)
- Re-read a book I love (Nostalgia)
- Read a book in a genre I don’t normally read (Expand my exposure)
- Read a classic novel I haven’t read (Revisit older writing)
- Lister to at least 6 audiobooks (Using more of my brain)
- Read 5 comic books/graphic novels (expanding novel exposure)
- Read 50 total books
