MY REVIEW:

This is a book that speaks to the depth of your soul; squeezing and pulling you along in the torture that these two fated individuals experience. In an effort to not give too much away, I want to try and stay as close to the description of this one as possible.

The story opens with two characters that have absolutely no memory of who they are and are on the brink of death. The woman is brought back to health by a nearby clan and the man is nursed back to health from a pack of wolves. Both of them are searching for answers to their past and everything changes when they come across one another.

This entire book had my stomach in knots. For their lost memories, their heartbreak and their painful journeys. I want to emphasize to anyone interested in reading this one that it is LONG. I believe it is around 830 pages and initially I felt like that was a lot to ask for a romance story. But this is decidedly more than just any romance story. It requires the time to really unravel all the dynamics and allow the story to unfold in ways that had me clutching at my e-reader with quickening breaths as I awaited to see where it was all going to go.

For anyone that loves romance that centers on soul mates, destiny, forever love and emotional depth – you’ll be sucked into a world that tickles all of your senses. Many of the scenes that Winters writes between these characters had me blushing a little, and most romances don’t do that to me. I was honestly impressed with her raw ability to write these two.

Filled with characters you will embrace whole heartedly and also those that will make your skin crawl. A high fantasy romance like nothing I’ve read before!

New York Times Bestseller, Pepper Winters, delivers a brand new High Fantasy Romance.

“It’s taking everything I have not to touch you. Not because I want to make you mine but because every part of me screams that you already are.”

A pack of wolves hunt a girl who takes her last breath by a river’s edge.
She is found and nursed back to health by the kind-hearted Nhil people.
She has no memory.
No past.
And is given a choice that could change her forgotten life forever.

A pack of wolves adopt a man who begs for death in the grasslands.
Blood revives him. Flesh strengthens him. All while the alpha watches him as if he knows who he is.
He has no memory.
No past.
And yet…he’s drawn toward the smoke of a faraway clan.

And in that smoke, he finds a girl with the same mark on her thigh, the same empty mind, and the same forgotten language on her lips.

He’s convinced they know each other.
She’s certain they are strangers.
But the more time they spend together, the more tangled the truth becomes.
Their forgetfulness was deliberate.
To keep them apart.
To keep them lost.
To keep them from claiming their true power.
Because in that power exists a terrible choice.
A choice that could destroy the world…
…or each other.

When a Moth Loved a Bee is the first volume in the Epic Fantasy Romance Destini Chronicles.
A heavily romantic, spice-filled fantasy set in a world where life and death, shadows and stars watch over two forbidden lovers whose powers are best left forgotten.

Recommended for readers over R18 due to explicit scenes, content, and darker elements.
